More road trips this week as our Seniors and Reserves made the trip out to face Skye United. Thankfully roadworks were at a minimum this weekend.
The reserves got a first half jump on Skye with goals coming from Graeme Donaldson and Tom Snaith. The second half allowed us to double our lead from a mistake by Skye, gifting us an own goal to our tally before Sunday 6 player Paul Neff made it four for the day.
Making sure we got our best side for the big screen.
The Seniors match was featured on the YouTube channel Football Chaos, which is the second time in as many years. The video is not up yet so we cannot show the hard fought game with few calls going our way, or getting whistled at all. It would take 85 minutes, but Batu Cimen would connect to the end of a cross from second half sub Graeme Donaldson to put us in the lead with a few nerve-wracking minutes remaining.
The Sunday 6s got their win against Baxter SC with goals coming from Graham Rawson, Paul Neff, and Nick Mountney.
While the Sunday 7s still are searching for their first win of the season after going down to Old Melbournians SC. Richard Bates provided the second half goal.
