Registrations for the 2027 season are open. Register for 2027 here.
If you’d like more information first, complete the expression of interest form on our Join Us page and we’ll send you club information, session times and start dates.
Can my child try a session before joining?
Yes. Free ‘come & try’ sessions are available for all new players. Book a spot here.
My child has never played before. Is there a place for them?
Absolutely. Our Foundation Program introduces Kinder and Under 6/7 players to the game through fun, age-appropriate activities. For older children, our Junior Community Program is a welcoming option for players who are new to football or after a more social environment, and girls can choose a skills-focused training option as a flexible start in our Girls Program.
Do you have girls-only teams?
Yes. More than 100 girls play in our Girls Program, with girls-only training and a dedicated female coach for every girls team. The pathway runs from Kinder and MiniRoos, through Junior Girls (Under 13 to Under 18) and into our Senior Women’s program.

Programs and extra coaching
Is there a pathway for players who want to play at a higher level?
Yes. Players can progress from MiniRoos into our higher-level junior ‘A’ teams and the U14–U18A Advanced Development Program, which adds strength and conditioning support, nutrition education and match analysis. From there the pathway continues into U21 and Reserves and then our Senior teams: Senior Men in State League 2 and Senior Women in State League 1.
Is goalkeeper training extra?
No. Goalkeeper training is free for all registered Collingwood City players, whether they’re trying the position for the first time or already playing at a high level. Sessions run on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Non-club players may also be able to join. Contact the club for details.
Do you offer private or small-group coaching?
Yes. Our Individual Sessions run each term for around 8 weeks, with as much one-on-one coaching as possible. Sessions can focus on first touch, passing, ball striking, dribbling, ball mastery and decision making. Email the club to register.
Do you have a program for players with a disability?
Yes. The Collingwood City Junior Eagles is an inclusive program for children and young people with an intellectual or physical disability, from 8 years old through to adult. The Eagles have Junior, Youth and Senior teams in the Football Victoria All Abilities competition, plus a training-only group. Contact Annette on 0411 460 567 or soccermail.hall@gmail.com.
