Collingwood City Individual Training Sessions

Collingwood City offers optional small-group training sessions. These private soccer sessions are designed with as much 1 on 1 coaching as possible, to help players develop specific technical aspects of their game.

The option of small-group training is ideal for players who would like to work on a specific area of their game. Often this technical training can be difficult to address within team training sessions, and therefore individualised sessions are more beneficial.

Program Details

Programs run each term for around 8 weeks.
As players progress their game, it can be useful to work on certain technical aspects to help them develop more rapidly. 

Our coaches recognise that players develop and mature at different stages, and these sessions help work on specifics, as well as develop their confidence.

Keys areas that can be focused on include:

  • First touch

  • Passing technique

  • Ball striking technique

  • Dribbling in tight areas and 1v1

  • Running with the ball and changing direction in open space

  • Ball mastery

  • Decision making
